Involved with the development of intra-day comparison and clearing interface systems and the AMEX Order File application which as well with Trade processing systems.
Participated in the design, development and maintenance of the Amex Order File Processing system.
This application was the processing hub for all Option, Equity, and ETF trades that originated inside and outside of the American Stock Exchange.
Participated in the design, development, testing, implementation and support of the IDC (Intra Day Comparison) and Surveillance system.
The IDC application compared each side of Equity and Equity Option transactions (trades that originated from the AMEX Floor and the Customer's Desk).
Converted an FTP based batch processing system to a real-time trades transmission system via an MQ interface written in "C" and Transact SQL Sybase.
This component sent successfully compared Option trades in real-time to the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) where they would eventually be settled on that same business.
