Due to a decrease in manpower due to reallocation, I assumed a dual role as a lead and worker. This encompassed streamlining working systems in order to meet customer needs ahead of schedule while isolating contaminated piping systems in the 105-R building.

While decommissioning Building 247, I was responsible for the chemical application of encapsulating product that allowed demolition of severely contaminated areas while eliminating the risk of personnel and environment. This effort resulted in improved contamination control and decreased personnel safety risks. This allowed management to meet their goals as far as staying on schedule without personnel safety incidents.
