Description: Scientific Games Corporation (SGI) is a global marketing and technology leader and provider of comprehensive, end-to-end gaming solutions to the lottery and pari-mutuel racing industries. SGI is the leading integrated supplier of instant tickets, systems and services to lotteries worldwide, a leading supplier of server based gaming machines and systems, Amusement and Skill with Prize betting terminals, interactive sports betting terminals and systems, and wagering systems and services to pari-mutuel operators. Worked in the online lottery group’s software division. Primary function was to test SGI’s core Lottery software product (AEGIS) Advanced Entertainment Gaming & Information Systems. AEGIS encompasses all hardware and software from lottery terminals at the retailer’s sites, through the communications network to the central site. AEGIS consists of several components i.e. Lottery Terminals (Extrema), Transaction Engine (TXE) - "host system", Game Management System (GMS) - "web interface to the host system", Relational Database (RDB), Domain Controller (DC) and Communication Front End (CFE). SGI provides this software to various states in United States and countries around the world.

Online Raffle Game: The Raffle Game is designed to be turned on/off, throughout the year. The information for each Raffle draw will be entered into the system by SG Operations using a TXE script. Each Raffle draw will have a draw number associated with it. The sale date, draw close date and time of each Raffle Draw will be set, as determined by PREL, at the time the draw is created. Time interval between the on sale date and draw date will be a maximum of 90 days. There will be a minimum time of one (1) day between the end of one Raffle draw and the start of a new Raffle draw. The terminal icon will be automatically grayed out (disabled) on the screen the day after the end date for the Raffle draw. The icon will re-enable on the start date for subsequent Raffle draws. If the Raffle draw sells out in the middle of a day, any future Raffle ticket requests for that day will receive the following pop-up message and a Raffle ticket will not be produced. The cost of a Raffle ticket may vary from draw to draw, but each ticket for a Raffle specific draw will cost the same amount. The cost of a Raffle ticket and close time will be set, as determined by PREL, at the time the draw is created and will not be able to be changed after this moment. The cost of a raffle ticket can be set from $1.00 to $50.00 in even dollar amounts. First Raffle ticket price $10.00.

Each ticket will contain a single 8-digit number. Raffle numbers will be sold sequentially by the central system. However, a player who requests multiple tickets may not get an unbroken sequence of numbers. The starting (lowest) raffle number and number of tickets to be sold for a draw will be set, as determined by PREL at the time the draw is created. The central system will sell tickets sequentially from the starting number until the number issued is reached and sold. Raffle numbers less than the lowest Raffle number will not be sold. The highest Raffle number issued limit is 99,999,999. When the highest Raffle number issued for a draw is reached, the draw is sold out. Once the draw is sold out, a message will be sent to the TXE’s general log once. No duplicate raffle number will be issued for a specific raffle draw. A retailer may request from one up to a maximum of ten Raffle tickets at one time. All ten may not print if the pool has sold out. No number selection will be allowed. The next available sequential Raffle number will be selected by the central system. Raffle will not be considered a Quick Pick game for reporting purposes. Last Transaction re-printing is not allowed for Raffle or any other game in Puerto Rico.

The number of prize levels to be awarded for each Raffle will be set, as determined by PREL, at the time the draw is created and can not be changed after this. There will be up to 10 prize levels associated with a Raffle draw. Free tickets and merchandise prizes will not be allowed for any prize tier. All prize tiers must be a cash prize value only. All Raffle prize levels will be configured as fixed prizes. The central system will allow the entry of fixed prize amounts without regard to the percentage of sales. It will be the responsibility of PREL to calculate and set the prize amounts. Raffle tickets can be validated at any Extrema® terminal and will be subject to existing payout limitations for regular-selling retailers. It will be possible to pay winning tickets from all previous un-expired Raffle drawings, following the prize structures defined for that specific Raffle drawing.
