I completed my DA training through Western Career College as well as my externship as of 2/26/09. I passed my written and practical exam for my RDA in April of 2009. I have nine months of hands on training as well as one month of in office experience working with other dental assistants with the responsibilities and tasks such as x-rays (digital), charting, treatment planning(dentrix), sterilization, fluoride treatments, application of topical, and some chair side assisting.
What I lack in experience I make up in drive and determination. I am a fast learner and I enjoy a good challenge. I believe I have the confidence and people skills your office is looking for.
