Duties and Responsibilities

1. I am responsible for preparing Erection drawings, Shop details and Bill of Material (BOM) for buildings according to PIS, Design calculations and Detailing manual.

2. Co-ordinate with design engineers and group head on any questions or difficulties encounter during the work, and submits Erection Drawings, Shop Details and BOM to the group head after making these ready for checking.

3. Any queries occurs in PIS or Design I raise queries mail to concern department like customer service dept. (CSD)

4. I make my internal plans to finish the work according to assigned schedule and gives early warning to the group head if schedule cannot be met.

5. Corrects any errors found and implements instructions provided by the group head or detailing checker after the job has been checked.

6. Prepare engineering release transmittal for erection drawings, shop details and BOM for concern dept. with which engineering dept. co-ordinate.

7. Guide my detailer/draftsmen/women as assigned by team head.

8. Ensure that the job file is well organized and updated.

9. We use AGOSED (Automatic Generation of Shop and Erection Drawing) and Autocad-2004 for Shop Details &Erection drawings.

10. We use SUCHI for Bill of Materials.

11. I have done complexity jobs ranges from: 12 to 75

Apart from detailing Pre-Engineering Building’s even I co-ordinate b/w concern dept. related to engineering dept. like any shop queries come across while production from factory. And also done some of Tower jobs for in house project.

I am trained Internal Auditor for ISO-9001-2008.I have been audited different dept. inside Zamil Steel at every three months in a year. And also I am auditee in case of auditing take place in engineering dept. and monitor all procedures, documentation in my department.

Even I had given training for sales department and vocational training for final year engineering students came for industrial training for zamil steel.
