Fall 2008

• Part of Engineering team that designed and constructed a new 3 feet hoist design through Pro/Engineer and Matlab

• Fabricated the final design in the machine shop, sponsored by Clark Construction Group, LLC

• Developed and conducted reality tests to assure the requirements met, which in the result of reducing maintenance time and cost by an estimated 40%

Conceptual Design for Lunar Surface Mobility

Spring 2008

• Cooperated in a 4-person team to create a lunar surface transportation design to meet the requirements by NASA conceptually

• Applied system engineering process to complete the design

• Created the design of 4 moving dolly to attach securely onto Lunar Surface Access Module and adjustable handle for improving transportation and operation on the moon
