• Created an innovative new blended polymer engineered seal to address very difficult sealing problems at a Flight Controls customer. Based on that success the account grew over $250K+.
FURON, Los Alamitos, CA
R & D Engineer 1993-1997
• Managed a $250K program to design and build a series of test rigs to develop new engineered products. New seal materials and seal designs resulted.
• Executed a qualification test program that demonstrated Furon’s engineered seals were superior to those of the competition. This led to over $50K of increased business at a large Power Generator Customer.
