• GENESIS PRIVATE HOSPITAL OF THESSALONIKI AS “LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST” AT MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY DEPT OF CLINIC.
My duties:
Performer of a full range of laboratory test from simple taking samples(phlebotomy) to more complex tests.
I am responsible for confirming the accuracy of tests results and report findings to the physicians. I can easily use all the instruments and different type of analyzers, such as, HITACHI ,COULTER, COBAS, coagulation analyzers. I have been trained from companies like ROCHE, BIORAD and I own completion certificates of training.
I can perform different tests, Chemical, Hematological, Immunologic . I can also microscopy bacteriological diagnostic analysis on body fluids, (Blood, urine, sputum, stool ect .
I can also manage all the analyzers, read results, run samples, use calibration, controls and perform all the relevent Lab duties.
I can perform all the routine procedures like: blood complete count, cultivation of specimen, blood type analysis, coagulation profile, lipid profile, hormonal function, serum and urine analysis, microscopy and determine the presence of bacteria, fungi ,parasites and microorganisms.
I can type and cross match blood samples for transfusion and know how a blood bank works.
Our laboratory cooperate with BIOGENESIS IVF Dept so I can read and perform lots of hormonal tests .
I have a great experience in providing Papp-a test in pregnancy using Cryptor Analyzer, in which our laboratory posses ISO certificate.
• MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT (Veterinary Center of Thessaloniki) 05/07 – 31/10/2004 and 01/10/2002 – 20/06/2003
I was first at Virology Laboratory. Then I was trained by BIORAD from who I posses Completion Certificate for training in ” Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Detection.
I worked at this program as a technologist.
I was responsible for all the procedure of diagnosis from selecting the specimen from the brain of Bovine and sheep to the rest af a complicate procedure which concludes purification part and detection of prion protein that causes BSE by using Elisa method. It was the only laboratory in North Greece responsible for detecting this desease in speciments.
• Private Microbiology Laboratory, Thessaloniki ( 31/01 – 30/12/2002)
My duties there: phlebotomy,taking different samples, enter the exams to the pc, run samples, read and enter the results on the pc.
I was using all the analysers and performing all the medical tests, I also did microscopy and know how to cultivate speciments and detect the results.

I was assistant at Prof. Galaris Dimitrios team who was on head of this research(voluntary work)
