Industrial construction and maintenance experience gained through projects ranging from Power Plants, Gas

Turbines, Refineries, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Fossil Fuels, Ethanol, Bio-Fuels, and waste to energy, Pipelines,

Paper-mills, Steam Generation, Fuel Cells, Wind Turbines, Chemical, Military Chemical plants and

HMI; sensors; automated inspection systems. Linear Feedback Control Systems, Adjustable Speed Motor

Control, Power Distribution/Protective Devices, Combinational/Sequential logic, Computer Analysis/Simulation,

Three Phase Equipment, and Closed Loop Positioning Systems. Experience with the following manufacturing

control systems: Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation, Yokagawa, Honeywell Experion, and variable speed motor

drives; Software includes, Wonderware and Allen Bradley, Delta V & HMI.

Installation and startup/FCO of power distribution equipment, collection systems, refineries and substations,

motors, transformers, control systems, lighting, instrumentation, heat trace systems, fire protection, and signaling systems, including switchgear, high and medium voltage breakers, panel boards, circuit breakers, MCC’S and all related power transmission and distribution/protection systems ranging in voltages from 600 VAC to 850 KV.

Testing skills include Hi-Pot, ground resistance testing, terminations, Installing testing Stress Cones, grounding,

oil sampling and dielectric testing. Proficient in various types of HV testing, monitoring and power quality surveys

using data loggers and infra-red non contact thermal imaging devices as well as most test equipment related to

the trade. I am also proficient in the use of all safety equipment and LOTO procedures and OSHA regulations.

Operate most all types of test and safety equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Proficient troubleshooting and system diagnosis using blueprints, sketches, schematics, ladder diagrams cable

schedules, wiring and cable programs. I am also experienced reading and interpreting P & ID’s, field drawings

and sketches and document control procedures. Proficient at creating modifying and updating existing Auto CAD

files.

Proficient in Single Mode and Multi Mode Fiber optic cable installation, testing and terminations such as SC and

ST, including Cat 6, LAN/WAN installs. EOI Certified fiber optic designer and installer.

I have supervised industrial, and commercial, construction, plant maintenance jobs and supervised up to 3 crews

of 15 electricians and instrument techs each. I have also worked as part of a crew and from time to time played a

lead role while working on special projects. Strive to provide innovative contributions in a Team Environment. I

like to be in the field but I am comfortable working in an office too.

I am comfortable using most MS Office products, Auto Cad and I am very computer literate. Experience using JD

Edwards, SAP, MAXIMO,TIMBERLINE, experience using the BAR system and other RFI project management

layout. MCC/Switchgear equipment layout & wiring and schematic diagram

development skills. I have a working knowledge of current NEC, OSHA, NFPA, UL

and other applicable standards. My responsibilities routinely require field research

using P&ID’s and drawings or documents including field and system wlakdowns.

I have intermediate Auto Cad experience, mostly updating existing Auto Cad files doing
