Project Worked: Doc Engine
Started as a Sr ETL Developer/Architect, later became an Oracle Lead and then assumed the development responsibility of the whole group.
Doc Engine is part of the Default IT group in JPM Chase. This group deals with mortgage defaults, loan modifications and the government incentives to avoid any foreclosures. However our group’s utmost important responsibility is to generate all the documents/letters send to the customers. This includes loan modification letters, trial packages, final packages, Gov. approval packages and denial packages etc. Chase has about 15 million customers including home equity users. Since we are Chase’s end point for customer communications, there was no room for any error whatsoever.
Responsibilities
• Manage a Development team of 15 members with activities including hiring, assigning the tasks, monitoring the tasks and co ordinate with the other teams.
• Forecasting the project hours, strategy development, team building and work assignments for the entire calendar year.
• Interact with the business leaders/managers and understand the requirements and their inputs on the current systems/future projects.
• Design the metadata engine system (customer letters, documents) so that business can add and remove any fields /columns with a minimum time.

Project Worked: MDR, IVAPP Mart, VASIP Mart, LEC Mart, CDI
Metrics Data Repository (MDR) is Verizon’s most advanced and significant reporting system with a DB size of more than 100TB. MDR had an average budget of 15 Million dollars and supplied many key metrics to the top Executives. I have worked with MDR in many end to end projects with roles such as a Project Manager, Lead Analyst, Architect and Lead Developer. I handled independently very strategic and non–strategic projects. Worked on multiple projects at the same time and always delivered them on time or before.
IVAPP application (source system) is an order provisioning system for FIOS TV, FIOS VIDEO, FIOS Digital Voice and FTTP Voice services. As part of this Mart, I lead many design/development activities. Also created many key metrics based on the provisioning status of the order, like order completion, Pending, future pending. Also played similar role in VASIP (Value Added Services), which is a third party interfaces for selling Verizon movies , Email services and so on. LEC systems are (which had more than 7 different source systems for ordering and billing information) conventional voice lines mostly residing in mainframe systems. The other key projects, I was involved were enterprise dimension mart (EDM), Equipment retrieval(ER) systems and ONT (Optical Network Terminals).
Responsibilities
• Architect and Integrate systems into a single DWH repository. Provide the best possible reporting solutions for the business needs.

Projects Worked: Guaranty bank DW, Financial Systems DW & Corrugated Packaging DW.
Temple-Inland has three vertical divisions - finance, forest products and corrugated packaging. I actively participated in forging the strategy for the first enterprise data warehousing for Temple Inland. Based on the specific business needs and source systems complexity, designed the table extraction rules, stage tables (History tables and Incremental Look alike) & mart tables. Participated in source system analysis, Source Data Analysis, Business Requirement gathering & source field-target field matrix as per the business rules. Lead/Co Coordinated the ETL Team for the development, testing, object promotions and deployment.

• Lead the ETL team in analyzing, designing ,developing & deploying on different business areas of Temple Inland Inc.(Banking, Financial & Corrugated Packaging)

All these projects are under United States Consumer Group of Prudential Individual Financial Insurance. Users of this group are the Policy Agents or the Producers of Prudential Financial who market, sales or support the Prudential Insurance Policies. Information or data about the customers/clients and policies are stored in different Admin systems and majority of the data resides in variety of mainframe systems, which are not properly connected. All these projects mentioned above are designed to provide the customer information in a simple and efficient way to the agents.
Responsibilities
• Design, development, testing and implementation of the Premier Agent Data Repository Project using stored procedures.
• Production support of the Premier Agent Project which includes data analysis of the historical data and checking of the weekly load status
• Develop the stored procedure for loading the data into the premier agent database from stage tables to the production table.

Cendant is developing a financial application for their Direct Marketing Division called Membership Financial. This application serves for billing, collection and revenue recognition for Cendant membership business. Project spans into 6 different modules which includes new Membership(newly developed system which is in Oracle and Java),Old Membership(Old system in VAX), Financial Transaction Control (accepts billing, refund, and other financial transactions from other systems), Financial Data Store ,Membership Client Return, Core Financials.
Membership Financials objective is to provide Secure and audible systems and procedures that will enable CMS to be confident in its financial reporting; specifically its membership revenue recognition, deferred revenue, deferred commission expenses and cash tie out process.
Responsibilities

• Creating/ Building and Running / scheduling Batches and Sessions using the Server Manager.

Panther is an enterprise wide initiation of the GE Capital. It is an integration cum re-engineering of three divisions of GE Capital (CE F, E E F and V F S) Under Panther, GE capital developed and implemented web-based application called Panther Asset valuation Engine (PAVE) for Asset Management Team. Asset team uses the PAVE application to calculate the residual values corresponding to any term and of any
asset.
Responsibilities:
• All DBA activities of the PAVE Database including setting up Database, mounting & dismounting , performance tuning, Backup etc.
• Writing PL/SQL stored procedures and the packages where parameters need to be appropriately passed to the front end to store and retrieve data from the back end.

A.) is an integrated Automation System of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) which is having a single global database connected by the end users from all the offices of TCS in the world. In the project, O.A. Group integrated all the databases that were divided across many systems like MATC, HRMS, ADMIN, and PAYROLL by completely redesigning the physical and logical data model and implementing that.
