Rehabilitation of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278), Park Avenue Viaduct, Kings County, NY: Responsibilities included inspection and testing of concrete placed throughout the length of the viaduct; performing inspection duties on the replacement of bearings, diaphragms and tie plates; assisting in inspection of the blasting and painting operations; assuring that paint is mixed properly as per Manufacturer’s Data Sheets; assisting in visual blast and paint inspections of the viaduct; recording dry film thickness readings; and visually inspecting containments.
