CAREER HISTORY
Regional Director, Dollar General, an $11B
discount retailer, 2009 to 2010. Led eight
District Managers in day-to-day operations,
process improvements, loss prevention and staff
development. Oversaw 130+ stores and 1100
employees. Managed $170M budget with full P&L
responsibility.
District Manager, CVS Caremark Corporation, a
$98B Retail Pharmacy, 2004 to 2008. Oversaw 13
stores and 500 associates. Increased sales,
expanded margins, controlled expenses and
improved customer service. Held full P&L
responsibility and managed $130M budget.
General Merchandise Manager, CVS Caremark
Corporation, 2002 to 2004. Drove sales and
developed more effective pricing,
merchandising, and marketing strategies for 620
stores in five-state region. Served as liaison
with SVP and AVP of operations and DSD vendors
such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Frito
Lay.
