Superintendent/ Senior Superintendent – Multifamily Production Unit
Managed multi-family new construction projects in access of 200 million overall. Managed all aspects of installation including various subcontractor crews, riggers, large labor pools, suppliers, and company interface support. Managed up to 32 people of various trades and skill levels including electricians, plumbers, and mechanical professionals. Maintained production schedules and budget including costs and/or savings for projects. Scheduled various subcontractors for the necessary work to be completed for each new unit. Communicated with trade contractors and managed their performance. Submitted timesheets and draws for subcontractors. Provided management, leadership and support to all Associate Superintendents. Was responsible for managing multiple phases of construction simultaneously. Responsible for scheduling construction activities for each unit and monitoring daily progress. Managed the worksite (i.e. Assistant Superintendents and Subcontractors) to ensure all units are completed before the Company’s time frame allotted for each unit. Ensured the overall cleanliness, appearance and safety of the community. Trained employees so that they follow construction disciplines to maximize productivity as well as meet the customer demands of health and safety. Saved over 1.2 million dollars for the DC project in 2003-2004. Promoted to Senior Superintendent for DC expansion including moving package and additional responsibilities. 6 years plumbing experience. Utilized state-of-the art tools in compliance with Manual “J” ACCA standards. Performed energy analysis of latent and sensible heat with full color graphics of loss due to specific construction variables within the structure.
