Worked as a Diesel technician then took over the Shop Foreman position in January of 2006. Supervised, trained and assisted up to 15 technicians. Extensive knowledge of class 8 commercial and medium duty vehicles. Considerable experience in computers including maintaining, updating software and hardware. Experienced in the use of several programs including Windows Office and Karmak. Effective time management and estimate preparation skills. Managed the needs/requirements of high revenue commercial accounts through extensive follow-up procedures. Strong principles and practices of supervision.
Diesel Technician
Beam Mack Sales and Service, Elmira, NY 1998-2004
Worked as a diesel technician on many makes and models on diesel powered commercial vehicles. Experienced in repairing and overhauling Mack engines, Mack and Eaton/Fuller Transmissions, and Mack and Fuller rear ends. Proficient in the use of computers for trouble shooting and repairing onboard electronics in many makes of trucks.
