Self-Serve Metrics Materialization System - Personal project Python, Data Automation. Designed and prototyped a self-serve data system enabling Data Analysts/BA Team to independently define, validate, and materialize business metrics using YAML and SQL, reducing dependency on Data Engineers.

Defined a structured YAML schema to store metric metadata (ownership, descriptions, SQL logic) and implemented role-based access control rules directly within the configuration schema.

Developed a Python validation engine to automatically lint configurations, verify YAML schema types, and execute dry-run queries against DuckDB to catch syntax errors prior to deployment.

Built an automated execution engine in Python to dynamically parse data models, manage table lifecycles, and materialize processed e-commerce datasets into optimized target tables using DuckDB.

Leveraged AI pair-programming by configuring multi-agent roles to test the system: the first AI acted as a Data Analyst to write new metric files, while the second AI acted as a Tester to stress-test the validation code.

Vietnamese Handwritten OCR System - Team project Python, Hugging Face, VLMs, Cloud Computing.

Built a comprehensive Vietnamese handwritten dataset by collecting manual samples and merging them with public sources; managed and hosted over 100,000 images on Hugging Face to streamline training.

Conducted research to select GLM-OCR (0.9B) as the core vision-language model; built an end-to-end fine-tuning pipeline on Google Colab, leveraging LoRA to minimize hardware overhead and resolving data-loading bottlenecks to achieve maximum throughput.

Engineered a high-performance API endpoint to serve the fine-tuned GLM-OCR model, optimizing GPU resource allocation to deliver low-latency text extraction for the web development team.
