I managed Unloading Wal-Mart merchandise trucks, I managed 16 men to do the following : Unload All Grocery Trucks onto pallets by department, Unload All General Merchandise onto pallets. When they were getting half way done I would start sending them out to the sales floor with rocket carts to stock as much of the grocery side as possible. When they were done unloading those trucks I would often times have to unload meat, dairy, frozen foods, produce trucks via an automatic pallets Jack and have them take them to said departments above. The latter part of the Night I would have them stock the Grocery side of the store so that Overnight stockers had very little to do. I also had to do paper work, discipline and fire, schedule associates weekly. It was a nightly routine to have to do computer truck piece count data entry as well. Depending on how staffed I was each day, I would try to empty bins from the back room and stock them as well, that way we could make sure all over stock was in bins in the back room and not on palettes. I also had to weekly load the stores empty palette collection onto a Wal-Mart truck via a fork lift to send back. Personal Accomplishment : I took one of the worst stores in the company that was at one point less than 50 % stocked to near 100 % stocked, a backroom full of palettes on the floor to a backroom with no pallets on the floor, a backroom with bins full to a backroom 30 % full, and a store with 10 % sales increases to a store with up to 130 % sales increases, a store that was worst in the region to among the best in the region. I made the company probably 30 million dollars profit in 4 months. Electrical Helper

Wal-Mart Stores Inc-Charlottesville, VA
September 2008 to December 2013
I stocked merchandise in all departments at first, then I transferred to doing Inventory Control in the receiving part of the store. The vast majority of the time I scanned out inventory from the back room and sent it out to stockers to stock, at the end of the Night I scanned as much over stock merchandise into storage bin steel as possible. I also used heavy equipment regularly to lift pallets to the top steel and put them into the top steel once scanned in. I also got quite a bit of experience operating a fork lift to stack empty pallets outside and occasionally unload home and garden trucks full of top soil pallets. I also have a ton of experience at shrink wrapping heavy pallets by hand, and you won't meet many better at it. Overnight Stocker / Dept Manager
