Dear Hiring Manager,
My name is Ishita Kanitkar, and I am currently a graduating Practical Nursing student in the PN program at WATC/PEAK Innovation Center in partnership with the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith. I will be graduating in May 2026 and plan to obtain my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification shortly after graduation. I am writing to express my intent and strong interest in obtaining an LPN position with your organization following graduation. Throughout my training, I have developed a strong foundation in patient care, clinical skills, and teamwork. I am currently working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Fianna Hills Nursing & Rehab, where I assist patients with daily care, communicate with healthcare professionals, and help ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents. This experience has strengthened my compassion, time-management skills, and ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare settings.
In addition to my work experience, I have volunteered at Mercy Hospital in multiple departments including cardiology, radiology, outpatient services, and medical-surgical transport. These experiences have allowed me to observe interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care while further confirming my passion for nursing. My goal as a nurse is to provide compassionate, safe, and high-quality care to patients while continuing to grow professionally within a supportive healthcare team. I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can expand my clinical experience and contribute positively to patient outcomes.
Thank you for considering my application and future candidacy for an LPN position. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my education, clinical experience, and dedication to patient care could benefit your team.
Sincerely,
Ishita Kanitkar
