Strategic Financial Planning & Budgetary Control: Determining viability of new projects, analyzing feasibility of existing projects, financial objectives, designing & implementing financial business plans & system, policies & procedures to facilitate internal controls - Operational & Financial both. Preparing Financial and Non Financial budgets in consultation with SBU Heads, for the project lifecycle Monitoring financial and operating performance of the company in line with the budgets, targets and overall company objectives. Prepare variance analysis and sharing them with management. Supervising the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, fund management, risk control, profitability etc. Linking with yearly budgets and past years performance to take appropriate preventive and corrective actions with respect to cost competitiveness and enhancing profitability.

Fund Management:

Liaising and negotiating with Banks & Financial Institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities at favorable terms to meet working capital and project requirements. Monitoring the inflow / outflow of funds; taking adequate measures to ensure optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of organizational objectives. Finance & Accounts/Auditing :

Handling all direct tax related issues at company level such as assessment of income tax,indirect tax matters. Implementing cost management initiatives, monitoring various overheads & achieving cost control. Coordinating for Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits; evaluating internal control systems / procedures to highlight shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.

Taxation:

Interfacing with taxation authorities for timely filing of TDS, GST and Income Tax assessments and filing of various Forms, Returns etc. required under various Statutes. Guaranteeing regulatory compliances, revenue share, Goods & service Tax etc.

Routine working :

Managing day-to-day operations in finance & accounting in coordination with internal/external departments for smooth financial operations

Examining & analyzing accounting records, financial statements & other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting & procedural standards

Estimating budgets and implementing systems/ procedures; formulating key reports to exercise financial control and enhance overall efficiency of the organization

Executing financial results forecasting system for providing accurate future results projections & budgeting system ensuring timely compilation and presentation of budgets

Screening new projects and conducting feasibility studies to determine the financial viability of new ventures for accomplishments growth goals

Undertaking activities related to indirect taxation for project up to assessment level (Goods & Service Tax)

Handling cash flows and ensuring that funds are arranged in the most cost effective manner after projecting accurate cash forecast ensuring that there is no shortage of cash in hand

Preparing MIS reports that generates necessary financial information to determine profitability

People & Process:

Providing the leadership for the entire team so as to ensure that there is a strong achievement culture prevailing in the organization. Applying best national / international practices in construction management/technology and systems to inculcate maximum value additions. Spreading heading the HR and administrative activities of the projects. Selection, induction training and development, motivation and manpower management etc.
