I currently am employed by St Paul's Dental Practice. This is where I began my practical training and have expanded my skillset a lot within the last months. I work here 40 hours per week. I can nurse alone for dental treatments and have assisted in a range of treatments such as extractions and restorations, orthodontic treatments, implant treatments and hygiene treatments. I have been taking weekly classes with my apprenticeship provider which has helped me expand my knowledge and has taught me the essential Infection and control and decontamination procedures. I can open and close the surgery's and decontamination room to a high standard, can chart notes accurately and efficiently and work well in cooperation with the team. I have covered on reception and have taken payments, booked patients in and out of appointments and taken telephone calls. I communicate with patients well and I put effort into helping care for them at a high level.
