1. All FACC FES Division personnel shall ensure that all emergency calls
are handled promptly and in accordance with NFPA Standards and FACC FES
Division SOP's.
2. All FACC FES Division personnel shall monitor all installation alarm
systems that are in the Fire Station.
3. All FACC FES Division personnel shall dispatch calls via multiple radio
systems.
4. All FACC FES Division personnel shall coordinate with fire fighters and
monitor all radio traffic.
5. All FACC FES Division personnel shall maintain a current status of all
units and continuously provide customer service information.
6. All FACC FES Division personnel shall ensure all equipment is
operational, including:
. Fire alarm systems
. Digital audio recording devices (Audiolog system)
. Telecommunication Device's
All FACC FES Division personnel shall make appropriate notifications per an
established emergency notification roster.
8. All FACC FES Division personnel shall make public address or mass
notification announcements as required.
9. All FACC FES Division personnel shall receive complaints and reports of
incidents in person, by telephone or by radio from FES personnel,
associates and the general public. Dispatchers will complete all
appropriate reports and forms for incidents and complaints and review
reports and forms for completeness.
10. All FACC FES Division personnel shall monitor emergency weather
conditions through Red Horse notifications and local weather broadcasts via
the internet.
11. All FACC FES Division personnel shall review blotters of the last 24
hours for significant events that need to be relayed to oncoming shift
personnel. They shall document all activities and emergency responses in
the blotter as they occur or immediately thereafter, such as:
. Incident or Complaint
. Vehicle accidents and incident
. All emergency responses
. All vehicle movements
12. All FACC FES Division personnel shall ensure timely notification of
concerned and key personnel when incidents or complaints occur, in
accordance with an established notification matrix. Record whom was
notified in the Blotter.
13. All FACC FES Division personnel shall complete all other duties as
assigned.
