Work Experience:

Painter

Currently working as a painter at marine department from July 2025 to till date

in Ron Tappmayer, Shelf Drilling, India through OCS service(India) pvt.ltd.

Work Responsibility:

• Relieve roustabout for lunch and tea breaks and assist Crane Operator

with deck lifting and shifting operations (internal shifting, laying out

casing, working with vessel while offloading cargo from vessel to rig and

from rig to boat).

• Working on deck with Crane Operator from 7 PM to 9 PM daily during

casing running, laying out and preparing casing on deck, general deck

lifting and shifting operations.

• Clean and prepare metal surfaces using power tools, hand tools, or

sandblasting.

• Remove rust, old paint, grease, and debris before painting.

• Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings to structural components,

decks, pipes, and equipment.

• Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns depending on the area and finish

required.

• Follow painting specifications and coating thickness standards.

• Perform routine touch-ups to prevent corrosion from saltwater and harsh

offshore conditions.

• Identify and report areas with coating failure or rust.

• Use appropriate PPE (gloves, harnesses, respirators).

• Follow hot work, permit-to-work, and confined space entry procedures.

• Participate in toolbox talks and safety drills.

• Maintain painting equipment and materials.

• Keep paint stores organized and properly labeled.

• Dispose of hazardous waste according to offshore guidelines.
