Attend to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of the necessary permits and renew thereof.
Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution control facilities with the end view of ensuing their compliance with the air, noise, and water quality standards; responsible in ensuring that no violation of PD 984 and its implementing rules and regulation are committed by the company.

Report within the reasonable time to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) the breakdown of any pollution control facility, and the estimated and control date of completion/repair and operation.
Promptly submit validated certified as correct by the Company President periodic reports (in specified format) to the regional officer of the DENR, EMB every quarter or as often as maybe required based on the operation and maintenance of pollution source and control facilities concerned.
Act as liaison officer with the DENR, EMB, keep abreast with the requirements of the DENR, EMB, and the latest available technology on the prevention, control, and abatement of pollution.
Maintain liaison with the city/provincial/municipal or local pollution control officer.
