As a machine operator it was my responsibility to check the materials that were produced for any defects or contamination. After checking material, it was then packed following the manufacturing specification for that product. As a machine operator it was also my responsibility to report any issues the machine(s) were having to our technicians so the problem could be fixed, and waste minimized.

BACK-UP QUALITY CONTROL (QC), Deroyal Industries Inc
I worked as the back-up QC on my shift when our regular QC was out. Working in the QC lab we had to ensure that certain products continuously passed testing qualifications. This ensured our products were up to the standards that have been set by the manufacturing specifications. In the QC lab we also assessed new products and ensured that each machine could run new molds without issues.

FAMILY SERVICE COUNSELOR, Memphis funeral home-poplar
Working as a family service counselor for a funeral home meant supporting and helping families navigate a challenging time after losing a loved one. I would help explain the next steps and give reminders of necessities’ that needed to be overseen after death certificates were received. Another part of the job was sales. I had to let families know that they could protect their loved ones in the future from additional grief and financial hardship by securing and locking in today’s prices for the services that they would want for themselves.
JANUARY 2025 – CURRENT
DELIVERY DRIVER, Doordash
As a delivery driver it is my job to pick up orders from the specified store. I make sure I am receiving the correct order and that everything listed is correct. After, I go to the address given by the application and follow the delivery instructions by handing it to the customer, or leaving their food at the door and taking a photo of the completed delivery.
