Responsibilities/Tasks:
Supervised the Contracts, QS and Procurement teams. Oversaw preparation of both internal and external reports, submitted certificates and initiated liaison with Contractors and the client.
Safeguarded compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, built the Contractors’ capacity, and planned budgets and all workflows associated with the position.
Assessed all costs and validated Contractors’ interim payment certificate as a Commercial Manager and later became the overall Project Manager responsible for all site’s project work.
Managed 44 contractors, delivered $22M costs savings for the client and led negotiations which avoided arbitration with twelve Contractors.
Oversaw the finishing works on the Four Seasons hotel and 944 real estate apartments. Dealt with tenant alterations and additional requirements.
