EXPERIENCE
LOAN PROCESSOR - CALIBER HOME LOANS: IRVING, TX – 2017-March 2023 Processing Conventional, VA, FHA, and Jumbo residential loans as we well VA and FHA streamlines. Working closely with underwriters, closers, loan officers, and most importantly borrowers to get loans closed in a timely fashion. My pipeline consisted of 50% VA loans, 25% FHA & 25% conventional at an average was closing 45-60 loans per month, depending on the size of my pipeline.
Use a specific process for my pipeline: first scrub the file and review all documents we have at time of application. Next step is to call the borrower and introduce myself and go over the conditions I see needed at that time. Then, I let the borrower know I’m sending a follow-up email with details of our conversation, what is needed, and to please call me with any questions. If I have not heard back from the borrower or received any documents, I will call them in the next 24 hours to check the status of their documents and any further questions. Once I have all the conditions needed and the underwriter has given the clear to close, I give the borrower a call to schedule a closing time as well as go over the final closing disclosure which I have already balanced all the fees with the title company to make sure the borrower confirms the final loan numbers to set up a closing.
