Experience

Crowne Plaza O’Hare Hotel and Convention Center Front Desk Supervisor/Front Desk since October 2019. I took this position to get an in-depth experience at a convention hotel and conference center at one of the busiest airports in the world. I did group blocks preassigned rooms and reservations with proper payment and routing, handled distress passengers from O’ Hare and make sure routing and payments are set, credit authorizations, group resumes and helped guests understand what is included with their group package, VIP’s and Amenities completed daily and sent, Expedia Partner Central, sign ups, and greener stays. I also helped sales get new business contacts. I have learned a lot as a result they promoted me to Supervisor at their Glen Ellyn location, then overnight manager at their O’Hare location.

Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites dual brand Front Desk Supervisor South Loop, opening team. I was employed there March of 2019 till October 2019. I trained the front desk, trouble shooting with IT and Bell Staff, Created Excel and Word documents for schedules and Front Desk Checklist Daily AM, PM, and Night Audit. Toured the city and all it has to offer, for guest suggestions. Great depth of understanding all the tours our city has to offer. Team building, daily reports, batch authorizations, high balance report, and all other activities to keep the front office organized and payments in order. Keep the moral of the team high, and productive, up selling and generating new business. Hampton Inn Naperville, I was employed as the Housekeeping Supervisor from Sept 2018 to March 2019. I was in charge of quality control, inspecting, training, and retraining employees to do their job. I Made sure all supplies are needed to complete and turn over rooms for check-in. Open and close the department, restock items, and inventory. I also jump in to other roles when short staffed. Scheduling and forecast- ing.
