Restorative Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant

Provides passive and active range of motion to residents and proper ambulation of residents with use of gait belt and other specialized equipment according to physical therapy orders. Proper documentation of resident maintenance of such and report to proper supervisor any changes in residents’ abilities. Obtaining weekly, monthly, and acute weights and accurately reporting in weight book and ensure proper notification of any significant weight changes. Also provides re-weight upon request. Helps in maintaining cleanliness of residents’ room and person. Helps in turning and repositioning every 2 hours and as needed to assist with comfort and wound prevention.
