• Running the mill in the absence of a shift miller

• Checking moisture content of wheat during conditioning Checking and weighing bags of finished products.

• Applying quality standards in the mill and documenting data.

• Application of health and safety standards in the mill

• Follow up with maintenance personnel and raise requests when there is a Fault within the mill.

• Managing and coordinating activities in a shift

• Monitoring moisture content of manufactured products

• Attending to breakdowns and reporting all engineering related breakdowns to the Engineering team

• Maximizing milling efficiencies in the assigned mill by focusing on adjustments and operation of housekeeping and cleaning of mill equipment

• Completing of production reports after completion of the shift and circulating to the production manager and other relevant personnel

• Performing shift handovers to the incoming shift miller

• Supervising all general related duties
