Responsibilities: As a terminal operator 3 my duties are to load and unload rail cars, barges, and ships. When I’m working on in-bound and out-bound barges my duties are to ensure the lineup is proper, the hose is connected to proper header. I’m also making sure the pumping order is correct and that the JHA’s and paperwork is thorough. When loading cargo, I am making set-points on analyzer and vapor systems for non-inert barges and inert vessels. We perform monthly inventory on all tanks to ensure the customers product level is correct. I also assist in tank-to-tank cargo transfers, stop gauges and keeping hourly rates on tank levels.
