Caroline Van Howe, MA, CPACC
Senior Executive Coordinator Association and Nonprofit Management
San Rafael, CA 415-***-**** ***************@*****.*** linkedin.com/in/caroline-van-howe
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Throughout my career I have been drawn to the same challenge: finding a gap in what an organization offers and building something new to fill it. Over 18 years as Chief Operating Officer of a national nonprofit trade association, I designed and scaled programs from the ground up, including a conference that grew to 325+ sessions and 3,000+ attendees, an online learning portfolio serving 15,000+ learners, and an IACET-accredited continuing education program that did not previously exist. Reaching those milestones, and a natural desire to take my skills into new environments and fresh challenges, led me to transition to independent consulting in 2024. I believe that experience has made me a stronger operational partner, exposing me to a wider range of organizations and challenges than any single role could. It has also confirmed what I have always known about myself: I feel that I truly thrive when I am working in close partnership with a leadership team, solving problems before they surface, and building the infrastructure that lets an organization move forward with confidence. I am now seeking a senior executive coordination role where I can bring that same builder’s instinct and C-suite perspective fully to bear in support of one team.
