Jazwares Company- from 3/2022 to 2/2023 Independent Contractor (Director of Design and Development) Was brought in to help establish a new girl fashion doll division. Worked on establishing the division and training their new fashion doll girl team.

JADA TOYS: City of Industry CA 3/2015 to January 2, 2019 General Manager / HR Manager (Promoted From Director of Girls Design to GM/HR in 2015)

• Responsible for the full cycle of HR.: Recruiting process from posting positions, screening candidates, creating job descriptions, interviewing candidates preparing and presenting offer letters to candidates.

• On-boarding of all new employees to include the 1-9, paperwork and presentation of co. handbook.

• Handled new hire first day orientation, to include completion of all new hire documents, first day on the job company tours, working closely with IT to arrange the employee new work place, welcome letter.

• Maintained all employee files, Executed all termination process alongside the payroll dpt. Did not handle anything related to Payroll and ADP. This was handled by the company’s CFO and her team.

• Handled yearly insurance open enrollment for the employees. Arranged for the insurance company representative to come in and do their yearly insurance educational presentation. Enrolled all employees in selected insurance plans. 401K plans.

• Coordination of all LOA requests from employees, FMLA support to our staff, tracking of any Disability cases, recording of all employee vacation time off.

• Managed and coordination of employee calendar of events and activities. Responsible for the employee monthly birthdays, employee breakfast, Friday lunches, end of the year Holiday party celebration, anything related to fund company activities.

• Partnered with dpt. Heads and CEO for employee promotion and company announcements.

• Worked closely with company’s CEO and Attorney to handle all co. sensitive and legal matters.

Director of Girls Design & Development Hard & Soft Lines. (From 3/2013 to 11/2015 Design/Development)

• Directed and managed the preliminary girls design and development teams here in the U.S. and in China.

• Over 15 years of experience working with license partners such as: (Disney, Sanrio, Universal, WB, Bandi) with main focus on girls intellectual properties with revenues from $10 million. up to $150 million.

• Oversaw the management of overall projects from inception of the concepts to final products. Ensure that the products met the brand standards as well as consumers needs.

• Responsible for the Princess and Me division as a Doll Designer and Development Mgr. Worked closely with the Disney team to insure the best possible product quality for the Princess line.

• Traveled to China to ensure the quality of the Disney Princess Doll production and development schedules.

• Worked closely with the HK, US Disney Marketing, and Internal Marketing Teams.

• Integral part of the Princess and Me division, which was a $40 Million division based on Soft goods and plastic accessories.

Silk Culture USA (Contemporary Fashion Line) Los Angeles, CA 2008 -2010 General Mgr./Sales Director for the US operation (Soft Lines) Directly responsible for the sales and merchandising for the West Coast territory. Managed Sales reps for the US to include NY, Atlanta, Miami, TX, Chicago, & AZ. Responsible for all the U.S. operation, based out of Los Angeles CA Mart. PLAYHUT City of Industry, CA 2005 -2008

Director of Design & Development Soft and Hard Lines.

• Reported directly to the President of Playhut. Managed the Girls Division to include; Preliminary Design, Development, Illustrators here in the U.S. and in GZ China. Worked mainly with License properties.

(Disney, Nick Jr., Marvel)

• Traveled extensively to China to ensure that all production development moved according to production schedules. Division’s yearly sales of $150 million and managed a team of 35 employees and 3 department managers.

• Worked all major tradeshows to include: NY Toy Fair, Dallas Toy Fair, HK Toy Fair and Nuremberg. MGA Entertainment 2002 - 2005

Fashion Doll Designer & Manager (Soft Lines/Fashion)

• Promoted to Doll Design and Development Manager in 2004. Managed one of the Doll divisions; consisting of Doll preliminary designers, Development, pattern makers/sewers.

• Worked closely with the Marketing Director to ensure that all Doll Categories were completed. Worked closely with Packaging teams, copy writers, Licensing and HK development teams.

• Traveled to China to learn the process of toy production.

• Promoted to Sr. Doll Designer in 2003, responsible for product design and development of various Bratz products: Bratz babies, Little Bratz, and Bratz carrying cases.

• Started my career as a Doll Designer with MGA in 2002. Was the first in house fashion designer for Bratz dolls. “The girls with the passion for fashion”. Bisou – Bisou Young Contemporary Fashions. Los Angeles, CA. 1998 - 2000 Contemporary/Jr. Fashion Designer

• Assistant Fashion Designer to the Head Designer, and owner of Bisou Bisou, Michele Bohbot.

• Learned all aspects of Preliminary Design, to include working closely with all sample room employees as well as all production employees.
