Resume:

Resumes are nonsense. As a history major that wrote many papers I know that doctoring a document to make it seem better than it is, is far too easy. This was before AI took over the world. Now this predicament is much worse. Interviewer should ask on demand questions to get real answers and figure out real truths. Calling any previous employers doesn’t offer any real assurance either as they will all have their own personal reasons to say whatever they say. Very rarely are people completely genuine everyone has personal motives influencing and directing their everyday lives even if they are unaware.

I added this from my linkedin. It is just ridiculous how many jobs I have applied to and not even been responded to minus the automated we decided to choose a different path.

I don’t have the best resume anyway. All I know is that I can notice things that most companies are oblivious to and in doing so save money and create more money generating strategies as well. I’ve learned a ton but have been unable to apply this anywhere. I would work for free to prove my capabilities and just receive earnings based on my productivity or savings. No risk and high reward. I don’t want a basic routine job of a specific amount of hours either, I want to come in or remotely effect positive changes in every way and move up or move on. I can effect these changes to any business that I can grasp. My family business was in our family for 50+ years and my parents recently sold it for less than one million. If I had even one year of full control the company would’ve been worth way more. I need whoever is reading this to trust me to make us money. What have you got to lose besides time, a currency that most companies waste constantly and my objective is to mitigate those losses.

I graduated from FGCU in 2012 with a degree in History and nearly completing the requirements for a Business Management minor, I developed critical thinking and analytical skills that are invaluable in any field. The focus on sustainability at FGCU left a lasting impression on me, driving my aversion to mediocrity in business. I firmly believe in continuous improvement and strive to bring that ethos to every endeavor.

Named after my grandfather, I was groomed from an early age to be a part of the generational family business, known as the "Ragman" business. Growing up, I immersed myself in every aspect of the business, from learning the basics to even painting the warehouse. While I didn't drive the trucks, I assisted in deliveries and rag pickups as well as receiving and shipping, gaining firsthand experience in the daily operations.

Immediately joined the family business upon graduation in 2012, transitioning from non-office-related childhood roles to various positions within the company. Initially lacked comprehensive insight into everything but quickly adapted and learned the intricacies of the business within six months.

Proactively identified and implemented numerous cost-saving measures, resulting in savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars. This included negotiating improved pricing with suppliers and implementing recycling programs for cardboard and pallets. Demonstrated sales acumen by securing significant revenue through successful client acquisitions, amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Faced ongoing challenges due to family dynamics, particularly concerning an aging parent's role in the business which has fostered a complex and stressful relationship with parents regarding business decisions and strategies, often leading to tensions and disagreements.
