Brown & Root - Lead Planner/Major Maintenance
Supervised all planning, scheduling, and major maintenance projects for the Nova Chemicals Geismar, LA site. Responsibilities and significant projects include assisting with coordinating subcontractors schedules and activities. Planning retube of Lumis and Kellogg heaters, exchangers, and boilers. Develop SAP Maintenance Task list, material MID's, equipment BOM's. Trained new planners in SAP to standardized maintenance plans. Team with procurement to maintain updated competitive material bidding. Initiated and expedited a successful material cost saving project that resulted in $3,000,000 in material and fuel saving per year.

Assigned with Nova Chemicals, Geismar, LA with primary responsibility of turn around (T/A) planning including evaluating subcontractor bids, prepare initial material delivery and labor sequence for schedule development. Prepare ACAD drawings for shop fabrication. Additional responsibilities include development of cost analysis and determine cost effectiveness of various construction projects and analyzing completed projects to validate cost, safety, and efficiency of project. Establish and maintain good relations with management, customers, subcontractors, and vendors. Previously assigned to Motive Enterprise, Norco, LA and Convent, LA - Review applicable drawings and specifications to compute and prepare piping and civil estimates using SAP and Turner Quick Plan.

Estimated commercial projects, prepared bids according to specifications, schedule, purchase material, vehicles and equipment for installation of commercial and residential garage and specialty doors; negotiated contracts with various subcontractors.
