Analyze and resolve issues with Social Security, Veterans Administration, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Regional Centers and other entities regarding placed clients in various communities within the State of California. Assist in setting up procurements (purchase orders, service order contracts, and facility contracts) with various vendors. Issue salary advance requests for employees and submission of outstanding default payments to State of California Francise Tax Board for collection. Handle the monthly processing of clients’ Medical Long Term Care share of cost payments to Department of Developmental Services.

Accountant Specialist

Prepare monthly reconciliation of bank statements and trial balances for various accounts and year-end reports. Reconcile various invoices and receipts. Monitor incoming bill invoices for payments, cash or checks for account receivables and process stop payment on unclaimed issued checks. Review and analyze complex bill invoices and account receivables issues and define resolutions in a timely manner.

Program Technician

Review, verify clients’ federal and state benefit eligibilities and other entitlement programs available for them. Enroll and update data information if benefit changes. Review and update monthly cost recovery accounts, medical billing rates, and Medicare Part D carrier and plan changes. Monitor and coordinate community placement with Placement Coordinator and Regional Center Case Management to ensure all documentation and requirements are met.
