Began as a Teaching Assistant for Cambridge KET and PET learners, supporting lesson delivery and classroom engagement. Progressed to English Language Teacher for KET (A2) and PET
(B1) levels, delivering communicative lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
Designed skill-based lesson materials, conducted assessments, and offered extra support sessions to improve exam readiness. Participated in parent–teacher meetings and maintained a positive, student-centered classroom environment through effective management and continuous progress tracking. Teacher Training Program – British Council Sri Lanka Participated in a 12-hour teacher training program conducted by British council in 2024, focused on developing classroom techniques, learner engagement strategies, and Cambridge exam preparation methods.
CELTA Teaching Practice – British Council Sri Lanka
(October – November 2025)
Completed Cambridge CELTA teaching practice, teaching elementary (A2) and intermediate (B1) adult learners. Planned and delivered communicative, learner-centered lessons and adapted methods to suit diverse learner needs. Received professional feedback from Cambridge-certified trainers, strengthening classroom management, lesson planning, and language analysis skills.
