WORK EXPERIENCE

SQL SERVER DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR – ALKAMI TECH August 2023 – Current As a Part of the global team, managing over 300 SQL severs having over 1500 databases with over 150 mission critical databases supporting major application in a highly available environment. I work with other team members to implement changes to servers, instance and database Migrate and Upgrade SQL server from Legacy to 2014, 2016 & 2017. I do attend weekly CAB meetings with Production support and Development to provide guidance governance on changes/deployments Perform system performance monitoring and tuning of applications; participate in capacity planning and systems configuration. I also Configure, Maintain and troubleshoot Log shipping, Mirroring, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, replication SQL server Failover cluster on same and multiple subnets, Troubleshoot application and database performance issues and provide performance tuning services. Acts as an expert technical resource to client and development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
