QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s in molecular Genetics with extensive experience in epigenetics research and biological techniques. Experience includes 4 years of genotype and phenotype analysis of constructed double mutants of H3K4me3 methyltransferases and to investigate the function of those mutated genes. Hand on experience on DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, assaying total chlorophyll and protein level using microplate reader, preparing cDNA from RNA, qPCR techniques by measuring gene expression, confocal microscopy, SDS page gel electrophoresis, coomassie blue staining, western blotting and using Fluorchem Simpleprotein software for protein analysis. Substantial experience with primer designing, blast informatics, data interpretation and statistical analysis.
