OVERVIEW

Hello, My name is Jasimine McCowan, and I am a San Francisco native. I perused my education in San Francisco, but due to life changes I was left with more responsibility than expected. My parents separated unfortunately when I began my freshman year. I am the second born, and the only of 4 children. While supporting my parents by caring for my younger siblings, my education became second; however I was able to get back on track and earned my G.E. D. I continued to pursue my education with the hopes of finding a career. I relocated to Malvern, AR in 2005 to pursue a new journey. I returned home to give birth to my first child in 2008, and have residing in San Francisco since then. I have worked several jobs, but have not been able to sustain a comfortable or dependable position in employment for many years. I am currently seeking employment with a company with a diverse, motivated team that can offer the proper training, support, and mentorship in order for me to advance. A team that will share the appropriate tools to help me pursue my long-term career goals. I strongly believe that I will be an asset to any team I may have the opportunity to work with and learn with as well. WORK EXPERIENCE

Monday through Friday my daily responsibilities varied based on the season, during the school year I would assist with the after school programs. My daily duties would include preparing after school snacks, helping the students with homework assignments, projects, prepared activities, chaperoned karate

/sewing classes, soccer/basketball practice etc. Assisted with the midnight league (basketball tournament for the youth) by distributing uniforms and also running the concession stand. I would also assist my team with organizing activities, field trips for the students during all breaks including Spring, Summer and Winter chaperoning as well. Monday through Friday my daily duties would begin with checking the front desk inbox, to confirm any colleagues taking vacation, sick day, out of the office etc. Following I would also look at my personal calendar that varied multiple requested tasks prompting greetings for arriving guest on the lobby monitor, preparing snack bags, setting-up conference rooms for meetings/trainings scheduled each day. Due to protocol and security processes, I was responsible for providing access to the interior of the building for those visiting. This process consisted of checking a valid I.D. or passport and checking them in/out of an internal system (Proxy) including vendors and subcontractors, as well as internal employees due to different circumstances. Promptly responded to all calls and emails about inquires tracking shipments inbound/outbound, using the internal systems Expo. Logistics/Expo. Accounts, as well as directing client's to the appropriate department/person as needed. Processed and distributed daily incoming shipments US Mail, Fed - Ex, Etc., by logging in the shipper

/receiver, tracking number while pending a signature for records.
