Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access to the BDSC premises and restricted areas. This includes verifying identification, issuing badges, and operating scanning equipment.
• Actively observe and monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other advanced security technologies to detect unusual activities or threats.
• Provide a visible, armed security presence to deter potential violent attacks, criminal activity, and unauthorized entry.
• Act as a first responder to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches, taking appropriate action until specialized personnel (police, fire, or medical teams) arrive.
• Assess and contain security incidents, and if necessary, detain individuals involved in illegal activities until law enforcement arrives.
• Assist in implementing fire and evacuation plans, guiding personnel to safety during emergencies.
