Omniplex Cinema, Cork (Ireland)

1. Position: Duty Manager (15th December, 2023 to 2nd October, 2024) Duties included the following:

• Oversee training, recuitment and perfomamance Management

• Oversseing employe Relations (Investigating griviences, drafting disciplinary charges and recommendation of the right penalty)

• Perfoms administrative tasks for the Cinema, which includes supervising Cleaners, receptionists

• Preparation of weekly staff roats ensuring budgetary control

• Reviewing of the Cinema policies

• Deal with staffing issues

• Effective stock control, including how and when to order from suppliers

• Carriying out efficiently the cinemas clossing and opening procedures such as tirning off alarms, taking off lock, turning on the computers & bringing down the floats

• Drafting the disciplinary charges

• Attends mediation and arbitration of cases at the Industrial courts
