EXPERIENCE

2004-2008 Park Manager

Whispering Pines Mobile Home and RV Park, Titusville, FL

Make reservations for both full time and seasonal RV Sites. Most reservations made by telephone not using a electronic system.

Receive rents for both mobile home and RV sites, as well as collecting laundry income from machines and making bank deposits.

Assign RV Sites, checking in and out guests.

Maintain daily basic book-keeping to give to full time accountant at the end of every month.

Ensure guests were aware of and followed park policies.

Plan and execute park activities and produce monthly newsletter.

Track maintenance issues and work with maintenance manager to see they were completed and they had necessary equipment as well as outside assistance when needed.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

Prior to the above positions I worked for 30+ years in various administrative positions, as a Military Spouse and Navy Reservist. I have always worked in positions requiring strong people skills either with the general public or other employees. I have worked as a Receptionist, Department Secretary, Human Resources Manager, Administrative Assistant to the CEO and other department heads. I have also worked at the White House as the Contracting Officers Representative where strong people skills were an absolute requirement.
