I was a 5th grade teacher at the Charter Day School in Leland, NC . In 2002 at the Charter Day School, I implemented the first Physical Education Program. Additionally, that year, I taught Spanish to 3rd and 4th graders. The school added 5th grade in 2003 and I was chosen as the first 5th grade teacher at the school. 100% of my students passed the North Carolina End of Grade test in my three years as a 5th grade teacher. In 2004, with the need of more extra-curricular activities at the school, I started and taught the Martial Arts Program at the school. In 2005, I was instrumental in bringing PopWarner Little League Football to the school and I coached the 7,8, and 9 years old students to a 4-3 record in our first year. During my career in the military, I served in the most tactical elite units, from the 82nd Airborne Division and Special Forces, to strategic units.
