Traveled to Mombasa, Kenya on a pre-physician assistant medical internship founded by Johns Hopkins. Shadowed physicians, physician assistants and nurses in various specialties in Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital. Volunteered at weekly hygiene education sessions for local children and gained clinical experience holding weekly medical clinics for the community.
