Public Speaking
I have spoken at Many National and State Conventions on Dragon Naturally Speaking and our custom-developed software, SpeechCAT, as well as our other products. I have spoken on an educational platform as well as a sales platform to Military Law Office Managers around the globe. I have also spoken to Military generals at a meeting of upper-ranking military officials regarding speech recognition and its role in the legal sector. I have provided multi-day seminars and trainings, which I organized and conducted myself, providing workbooks and supporting materials.
Educational Resources
In 2016, I created and for many years maintained a Moodle Education Portal where customers could take advantage of over 12 different online, self-paced courses that teach computer basics, Dragon, Hardware proficiency, our custom Software, how to train our custom software and basic Windows. The courses contain reading material, videos and imagery to assist the learner in succeeding in his/her course. Exams throughout the course evaluate the learner's success in picking up the concepts taught. Learners completing the courses receive a certificate of completion or a certificate of excellence depending on their scores.
Documentation
Since the inception of the AudioScribe Corp. in 1997, Adria has written and re-written documentation, including but not limited to workbooks, user manuals, step-by-step handbooks, and frequently asked question documents for focused learning.
Development
For 25 years, Adria has sat in on code reviews with AudioScribe programmers, where the software was discussed and how and in what order the team would get it to where it needed to be. Adria is also the Alpha tester for the custom software modules, and she runs the Beta program where end users use the newest version available to test it in a real environment before it is released to the general user population. They report to Adria, who then reports to the programming team, where the urgency of the item is discussed, and development is scheduled accordingly.
Support
Adria has provided software and hardware support for court reporters for 28 years and CART Captioners for about 15 years. Adria has also supported other custom software using TeamViewer, Join.Me, and QuickAssist for remote support.
