Answer intake ACD queues and adhere to telephone performance requirements for call response time abandonment rates

Respond to questions about eligibility benefits and procedures for accessing behavioral health services Verify patient benefits and eligibility through health plan computer access and phone Perform data entry and route calls to the appropriate resource Determine type of calls to transfer to clinician for assessment and screening as defined by referral guidelines and protocols

Provide information on outpatient/inpatient services and policies Provide community based and other needed resources to members Solve complex issues on referrals, and offer routine, or urgent with assistance for appointments Intake and submit grievances for resolution

Support the admission, discharge, follow-up processes, and patient referrals Assist with arrangements, confirmations, and contracts of patient admissions Ensure level of care and documentation in accordance with state and federal policies Obtain data and input patient demographics and financial information Verify referral, authorization, insurance coverage, and collected co-payments Maintain, pulled, and prepped charts

Schedule patients according to policies and procedures Experience and Knowledge of diverse type of insurance (HMO, PPO, Medi-cal,Medicare, Third party payer, etc)

Assist provider, member, insurance carrier in billing issues and status Perform necessary follow-ups of insurance claims
