RF ENGINEER IV ERICSSON 09/2022 – PRESENT

· Lab test to validate the new software for the T-Mobile CI/CD Project with features and regression cases, which include VoNR/VoLTE, Data call, Handover, and 911 items.

· Various lab support activities to troubleshoot according to the customer’s requirements.

· Monitor and analyze the commercial sites' RF and user traffic quality trends, including RF factors and L3 message troubleshooting.

5G RAN ENGINEER DEEPSIG 12/2021 – 02/2023

· What’s the company Deepsig? A startup company that develops software + AI/ML algorithm for 5G RF UL enhancement. I worked on designing and operating the end-to-end lab activities.

· My main role was to test 5G UL performance with various RF configurations per the new software, implement the new software package from the vendor, and demonstrate end-to-end performance.

· I have small experience with TM500 provided by Viavi and RIC from self-developed.

· What’s the company Accuver? A telecom company that provides 4G/5G testing products like XCAL.

· I had two main roles to work for Accuver. The first one is on-site supporting the customer T-Mobile. I used to operate Accuver’s automation system for T-Mobile’s 4G/5G software validation with test plans, troubleshooting, and result analysis with Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung RAN software. And the second one is to participate in the development of the automation system with Accuver’s HQ developers as a part of the DevOps project.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER SAMSUNG 03/2001 – 12/2018

· 1st part (03/2001 ~ 02/2013): RAN system test engineer. Page 2

o Lead of lab testing to validate CDMA/GSM/LTE software, do software packaging, and provide technical support for the customer’s implementation and troubleshooting. I had the experience of IXIA and TM 500 to simulate multiple and heavy traffic conditions for performance validation. o The major customers: SK Telecom in Korea and Clearwire/Sprint PCS in the U.S.

· 2nd part (03/2013 ~ 07/2016): Project manager for site deployment. o Manage the deployment rollout progress, headcounts, and the vendor’s contracts for the Sprint’ Network Vision project (total $6B, 5 years) in Samsung HQ. Also, a technical lead to enhance the quality of deployment in the nationwide commercial sites.

· 3rd part (08/2016 ~ 12/2018): Principal engineer for maintenance projects. o Technical lead for monitoring the user traffic quality in commercial sites, troubleshooting, and building new patches for bug fixes and requirements. o The major customers: Sprint/T-Mobile in the U.S and Jio in India Education
