Executive Coordinator to the Regional CEO
Coordinate and support the activities of the Regional CEO and Leadership Team in the Northeast Ohio footprint which is comprised of 5 chapters covering 22 Northeast Ohio counties serving 4.5 million people.
Responsible for managing the Regional Board of Directors activities and meetings as well as participating in the weekly department head meeting and regional executive coordinator meetings. Act as lead for the chapter executive coordinators (4) and business ops liaison for the group. Input data into Salesforce from meetings and events that represent the activity of the Regional CEO and his community engagement that could lead to funding opportunities for the region. Submit and approve direct reports to the Regional CEO and his Concur meeting and travel expenses monthly. Support the scheduling of meetings for the annual Board giving campaign and track Board engagement through spreadsheets developed for that purpose.
Maintain employee rosters, volunteer data, Board rosters, other contacts used to conduct the business of the region and provide organizational and financial support. Maintain and manage the Regional CEO’s calendars, his participation on Community Boards and at community events to keep the American Red Cross prominent in the region and before potential donors.

Division Transportation Manager
Directed logistics support for the division and biomedical regional headquarters in 16 states with $53M in physical assets and implemented strategies for effective use of resources to reduce operational costs. Conducted timely evaluation of financial and functional operations and presented report to the National Directors of Fleet & Logistics to demonstrate findings on expenses and activities. Collaborated with fleet staff to construct effective strategies for process improvement and quality assurance.
Implemented the new Volunteer Driver program (VDP) in the North Division. Achieved the goal of that program to reduce paid courier company expenditures. Hired a team of transportation coordinators who oversaw the VDP in the 16 states of the North Division that was identified for the initiative. Savings in the first year were over 3 million dollars for the continental states. $900,000 was directly attributable in cost avoidance and savings. Over 20,000 volunteer runs were made to accomplish this milestone.
