Resume:

Personal Assistant

To Whom It May Concern,

I am a “take charge” person who you can trust to get things done in the manner that you want them done. I am mature and experienced and have great judgment. Let me know what you want or need and I will take care of it. I am used to working with high-net-worth clients and feel comfortable in almost any situation. I am available to start working with you immediately.

Professional Background

Throughout most my career, I have dedicated myself to working not out of necessity, but out of genuine enjoyment. After selling my CPA practice, which specialized in tax and accounting services for high-net worth clients, I spent several years volunteering. As volunteer work was not as fulfilling for me, I continued to seek meaningful engagement and began part-time work at my late husband’s law practice. Following his passing in July 2020, I successfully managed the transition of several major trust accounts and charitable foundations to their respective successor trustees.

Skills and Attributes

I am highly organized and excel at multi-tasking. My communication skills have been refined through decades of experience with diverse clients and volunteer groups. As a retired CPA, I understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion. My broad background has provided me with extensive knowledge, enabling me to efficiently access information and achieve desired outcomes. I am diligent in planning, avoiding last-minute rushes, but remain flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. My success is measured by the satisfaction of my clients.

Relevant Experience

While in college, I worked at a theatrical business management firm assisting major entertainers. My duties included handling their bills, running errands, accompanying them in public, and coordinating moves with vendors.

A few years ago, I was invited to assist a Pasadena-area woman as her personal assistant. She is actively involved in charitable boards, owns multiple properties, and travels frequently. I welcomed the opportunity and have thoroughly enjoyed utilizing my business, accounting, social, and management skills in this role. However, the position is part-time, and I am seeking a more substantial commitment.

My familiarity with high-net worth individuals stems from my experience managing successful clients during my CPA practice.

Recently, I relocated from my Pasadena home of 31 years, a property that presented unique maintenance challenges due to its hillside location, design, and age. I spent considerable time overseeing property management and garden design, further expanding my knowledge of property upkeep and construction.

Personal Motivation

Since the passing of my husband, I have discovered the importance of staying active and productive. I thrive when challenged, interacting with others, and contributing in various environments. I am mature, healthy, energetic, and eager for a full-time role. I am currently residing in the Pasadena area and am seeking a full-time job.

Conclusion

Based on the brief job description for the Personal Assistant position, I am confident that my skills, experience, and motivation align with the requirements of the job.

Please see my attached resume.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Christy Bradley
