●Responsible for documenting the legacy ACCESS system and processes and writing business

requirements to optimize the order fulfilment process by discovering, documenting, and business processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

●Project moved processes from the legacy ACCESS database to Macola. Macola is a

web-based application that operates in a Microsoft SQL environment that has applications

that support project management, distribution, and manufacturing, as well as customer

relationship management.

●The requirements involved the creation of new screens, new reporting tools, and ultimately

enhanced the order fulfilment process in the manufacturing warehouse.

Blue Cross Blue Shield Nebraska (Modis) September 2010 - June 2012

IT Project Manager

●Responsible for the Electronic Enrolment activities for the migration from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of NE legacy platform to CoreLink. Additionally, was responsible for day-to-day production issues with an enrollment vendor, Benefitfocus, and CoreLink.

●Managed a Collaboration Room with over 20 resources, including, Systems Analysts, Data

Analysts, ETL Developers, Testers, Web Developers, and Business Analysts. The

Collaboration Room's responsibilities were to manage the Group Membership and Electronic Enrolment piece of the migration.

●A large number of enhancements were required to install gaps in the functionality from the

BCBSNE legacy platform to the CoreLink platform. Managed the Benefitfocus work/requirements

efforts that were required to support the CoreLink enhancements.

●Managed the largest ever implementation of 19 groups to an Electronic Enrolment product

Benefitfocus offered, eExchange. eExchange takes groups' proprietary enrolment files,

translates into an 834 file format and transmits to Corelink for enrolment processing. Including sending a copy of the 834 file to BCBSNE.

●Led the effort to create an internal tool to BCBSNE, METS (Member Enrolment Tracking System). Member Enrolment Tracking Service is designed to help Membership and Underwriting Services identify out of sync data between the copy of the 834 file from Benefitfocus, The BCBSNE membership system, and the CoreLink membership system.

This tool greatly increased membership's ability to process membership changes more

efficiently.

●Manage relationship with third party vendor, Benefitfocus, including contributing to the

creation of several Statement of Work documents and day to day issue management and point of escalation. As part of the relationship management team, Lisa monitored and enforced several Service Level Agreements.

●Drove work planning and management of scope, inclusive of initiating and driving forward

change requests.

●Room resource management, including performance appraisals, one on ones, and addressed

any performance or personnel issues.

●In order to collaborate more effectively with Benefitfocus, Lisa coordinated onsite meetings

with vendor resources, both in Omaha, NE. as well as in Charleston, SC.

●Assisted with prioritization of the work for the room resources, considering their existing

workloads.

●Developed the 2012 annual budget, including the Electronic Enrolment resources,

projected costs of change requests that were to be submitted to Benefitfocus, proprietary

test environment, and projected new eExchange implementations.

All communications to Citibank from the Release Management Team were filtered through me and all communications from Citibank to FDR was also filtered through me. Lisa worked hand in hand with Citibank to ensure the necessary testing of new functionality, files, reports, etc. was complete and validated. Additionally, completing regression testing related to screens, statements, and reporting. Assigned validation tasks to Service Analysts and managed the workload distribution.
