Objective:
Dedicated and experienced professional with 15 years of service at the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, seeking remote work opportunities. With a background in various roles, including Visa Assistant, Motor Pool Dispatcher, and Warehouse & Property Manager, I bring strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills. Currently residing in San Salvador with my family, I am looking to leverage my extensive experience in a role that allows me to continue contributing to global operations while maintaining a work-life balance.
School:
I graduated from Universidad Cultural Sept 2014 in Business Administration Work Experience:
June 2021 to August 2025
Warehouse and Property Manager: U.S. Consulate General, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico
I managed a warehouse team of 7 personnel, served as a point of contact for my team, arranged work with various parties, and informed the supervisor of administrative matters and important outcomes. Prepared daily workplans for the team based on Mission service needs and suspense dates. Oversaw and lead multiple projects that often involved creating office procedures for various initiatives, including the massive project of replacing old Drexel furniture with new Ethan Allen pieces at every house of the housing pool, management of the various processes related to home furnishing, and managing online auctions of furniture, vehicles, scrap material, tools, and miscellaneous items to clear space and recover funding. In addition, I drafted documents for approval and disbursement, such as Post’s memorandum for the Management Office to request approval to publish information related to property auctions. Maintained office files and conducted inventories for Consulate-owned furniture, including the MSGR house, Heritage Art, facilities tools, expendable supplies, office supplies, and cleaning materials. Compiled budged data by estimating and tracking expenses for the budget, such as purchase orders for office and cleaning supplies, furniture and appliances, vehicles, gym equipment, pool tables, and miscellaneous items. Performed financial calculations and prepared the projected annual budget request for each item and service that needed to be acquired during the fiscal year, including but not limited to costs of employee training and development, such as continuing forklift certification for warehouse employees, as well as procurement of uniforms for warehouse and motor pool employees. Developed budget justification and provided it to the General Service Officer by means of excel reports that included calculations of cost and other expenses based on price estimates; amended purchase orders as needed to fix discrepancies in records Trained the US Embassy Santo Domingo Property Management team on how to create Property Manager's access to the online auction platform to successfully transition from physical auctions to online auctions while eliminating the need for an auction contractor. This initiative saved the US Embassy Santo Domingo the contractor’s commission fees adding up to 30% of all the sales.
